DAY 1 the token we found, there is something about it that seems to be hidden in plain sight - at least to my inexperienced naive eyes, but that's why I am here - to learn. my better informed, senior colleagues continue to consult well-thumbed books, books much older than myself, and even they, by many multiples of years, searching for ciphers and hidden codes to decrypt what is inscribed on the surface of this 'Bitcoin token'. They know so much; I, so little. I have not even heard of what they speak, let alone understand it. All I can see, though, of course, I dare not say it - it's my first day here and I don't want to be laughed out of the tent red-faced in a cold sweat with embarrassment - is the number 13, the figures enjammed together, held with a scratched sticking plaster that, at a glimpse, may be mistaken for the letter 'B'. 13, of course, is a very significant number, but, again, I dare not say; it's my first day.
